Sometimes an unexpected gem of an idea needs a brand identity that reflects its unique personality. Haven Lobby Bar is a locally owned and operated restaurant located in a popular chain hotel just south of Calgary. The owner was keen to stay away from the corporate vibes typically associated with hotel restaurants, and we were here for it. The result is a playful yet refined logo inspired by the standard “do not disturb” door hanger, accompanied by artful illustrations and handwritten fonts. At Haven, a meal isn’t just a meal – it’s a moment to savour. They’re not your average lobby bar.
